We previously announced that Gorka would be leaving FireFrost Productions, however this is no longer the case and Gorka is still with us, working on a few projects. We'd also like to mention a side project we are working on. This is a submission for the Technology Students Association. Our project is a self constructed arcade cabinet, featuring games developed and designed by us. These games will be released for free, and a video of the arcade cabinet will be released later as well. We will release more information on this project at a later date. We have also recently announced two games, A Man And His Boat, which has a downloadable concept demo, as well as Colors Are Lame. We look forward to sharing more on these games very soon.

Once in the world, there was only black and white. No other colors, because those are lame, right? Well here comes a random guy who puts color into the world. No one wants that! Worst of all, the colors can't even mix! Touch a different color and you're dead! The people are outraged! Yet one person will go through them all, all the colors, to put an end to this madness. Colors Are Lame is a platformer in which the primary mechanic is to switch colors, while trying to complete the level. The final game will feature 5 worlds with 8 levels each, including a unique boss. There are enemies to jump on, spikes to avoid, ladders to climb, and keys to collect. Colors Are Lame is set to launch in late 2017 on PC. Other platforms will be discussed at a later date. All images showcase a game that is still in development.
We are going through some changes in our release schedule, development plans, as well as staff. First off, Gorka is leaving FireFrost. He is starting his own team, but will be solo for a while. However, Gorka's new team will work with FireFrost still, we will share assets and work together on various projects. Gorka's game, A Man and His Boat, has been handed off to Dragon who is rebuilding the game. A release date is not certain, however you can accept a trailer by the end of July. Super Space Pixels is also going through a big change. It was originally announced that Super Space Pixels would be finished into a full fledged game with lots of new features. However, these plans have been cancelled. The next and final release of the game will only have 1 more Ship added and 2 more levels. The menu will be changed to accommodate these changes. The reason for this is so developer LinkFrost can focus more on a bigger project, a project as big as Horus, that has been in planning stages for a long time. Speaking of Horus, development has been slowed due to Dragon working on A Man and His Boat. Don't worry, A Man and His Boat is a relatively small and simple game, so development on Horus should take off again next month. Expect no news on LinkFrost's new project till mid 2017. That's it for the changes as of now, be sure to follow us on Twitter for updates.
On April 30th, the day this post was written, we attended Westport Mini Maker Faire to show off the early stages of some of our games. We showed the first public release of Super Space Pixels, and also an exclusive look at Horus, our major upcoming release. We also showed a puzzle game by Gorka called A Man and his Boat, as well as Rahul's game called Barricade. After thinking about it, it was decided that A Man and His Boat would be remade to be more advanced and look more appealing. After seeing how many people enjoyed Super Space Pixels, we also decided to release it on Game Jolt. This was a great experience for us, and we hope to be back at the New York Maker Faire that is coming soon, as well as other events.
Welcome to our new website! We hope you enjoy our upcoming content, we plan to make many new releases soon!
